Full length cd for widely-respected and influencial digital music label Mego. One of the mature laptop-based Merzbow albums, the material is reminiscent of Akita's older tape collage work while introducing some blatantly digital sounds into the mix. Most interesting when played at a reasonable volume, this Merzbow cd is not suited to background listening. The theme of the record is food, and the packaging is a nice tall gatefold sleeve with card inserts featuring pictures of food, one card for each track on the cd. |
