Excellent remix of live performances in 1999 and 2000. The sound quality is phenominal: crystal clear and very heavy. Demonic digital low end pulses coupled with high pitch frequencies dominate this recording, with several dynamic shifts in overall volume asking us how loud this cd can possibly get. I recommend caution when listening on headphones! Masami Akita & Zbigniew Karkowski work very well together and this material is among the best of Akita's digital era. It is satisfyingly harsh and the use of distinctly digital sounds feels natural here. The high end on this cd is quite intense, but is almost always accompanied by significant low end. Recommended. |
